Lots of pictures

Okay, everybody. Here are our best pics from the first 4 weeks of Jonathan's life. Sorry, they're not in chronological order - Mommy is a little frustrated with this blogsite right now. I did my best to label them, though!

Grandma and Grandpa Folsom were here for a while after J was born. This is the day they left. Always a scary time for the new mommy and daddy. Luckily, Grandma Soderlund came just a few days later.

Glow Worm

Jonathan is battling jaundice. Last night his bilirubin count (high levels can result in jaudice within ones system) was at 3 then it climbed to 7 by this morning. For those of you who know, this is nothing to get too concerned about. Jonathan just has to stay in his blue lite bed unless he eats. Mom is doing well, today around 1:30 she is getting her leg pressure cuffs, IV, etc. removed and can begin to walk around. Thanks to Wendy (Chrissy's older sister) we have a first family photo. Jonathan Blair Soderlund is Here!

Jonathan was born June 29th 2011 at 2:31pm. He weighs 8 lbs 12 ounces. He is 21 1/2 inches in length and his Scandinavian head measures in at a whopping 14 1/4 inches. Mom (Chrissy) is moving beyond ice chips to fruit juices. She is still strapped to the bed with a labyrinth of wires. She is doing well and expected to stay here at Los Robles for 4 days. David is a proud big brother. As for Jonathan, he is quiet. He rarely lets out a cry and he has already produced the biggest dump that I have witnessed in a while and that is with a 2 1/2 year old at home. We are so proud. We can't wait to introduce him to you real soon. Love The Soderlunds

Recent Videos

The first two videos show David hanging out with his cool cousins.

Here's David dancing and singing, while watching himself in the mirror. Isn't the top step of the stairwell the safest place in the house for this?

Until this day (below), I had no idea how much David was learning! Since when did he know songs?!?!

Safety Day

A few weeks ago, our community celebrated "Safety Day." We got to tour fire trucks, helicopters and police cars!

Even More

Oops! I found these pictures in a separate folder. Meant to post them with the Spring pictures post.

Here's the whole family on Easter Sunday:

Our big climber. I think this was taken several months ago. Back when climbing on things like this was a new phenomenon. I love that face!

In March, David's Grandparents (Gma Soderlund, Gpa Folsom, Gma Folsom) came to town for his dedication. The next day, I caught David "helping" Grandpa on the computer. Too cute:
