First Steps (Crawling)

Look who's finally crawling! He gets faster every day. Yesterday we put the safety latches on our cabinet doors. (Ugh, how annoying.) There's much more baby proofing to be done, but we're okay with that because he's just so darn cute when he moves!

Seattle, Meeting Miss Darcy

David took his first plane ride over the 4th of July weekend! We traveled to Seattle to meet David's newest cousin, Darcy Ann Cook. We all survived the plane ride, which was good practice for our plane ride to Poland later this week.

Aunt Anna's Wedding and Small Milestones

David's Aunt Anna got married on Saturday. It was a great wedding, but it was H-O-T (over 100 degrees). We felt just as hot as we look in the picture above, taken with Grandma Soderlund (the Mother of the Beautiful Bride).

David turned 6 months old on Monday. He now weighs 19lbs, 5oz and is 26.5 inches tall/long. He's more than doubled his birthweight! (Thankfully he hasn't doubled his birthlength. In that case, he'd be nearly 4 feet tall. The giant 6 month old!)

When you can hold the kick toys on your bouncy seat, perhaps that means you've outgrown it?

David rolled over once at 5 months, and hasn't rolled over since. He's doing more and more of this, though:

Darcy Ann

David has a new cousin!!

Darcy Ann Cook was born on April 18th. She weighed 8lbs, 8oz and is so precious. The picture below was lifted from the Cook family's website (see the link on the left side of your screen). Both she and Mommy (Chrissy's sister Beth) are doing great.
